Ethan Maye

Ethan was born into the horse business, starting and riding ponies during his early years to piloting greens at Pony Finals before moving onto horses. The beginning of his horse career started with Snowden Clark of Orange Hill and Chuck Keller who both taught him the value in proper horsemanship and correct, old school riding. During his later Junior years Ethan rode in the Equitation with Andre Dignelli of Heritage Farm, learning the finesse and technicality that goes into top sport. Once becoming a young professional he started working for Jimmy Torano. His time at JET Show Stables offered many opportunities to advance in the ring, competing in Derby’s, showing top Young Jumpers and schooling Junior/Amateur horses alike. Combined with the knowledge of the inner workings, teaching and training that goes into a high level facility in the industry, his time there was invaluable. Now starting his own business, Maye Sport Horses, with the goal of bringing his knowledge and expertise to the next generation of horses and riders, he hopes to make a positive impact on the industry while bringing horsemanship back into the sport.

Chloe garrett

Chloe began riding at a young age, growing up in a horse oriented family, she was on a horse before she could walk. By age four she was regularly Fox Hunting in the Millbrook hunt scene and fell in love with the equestrian sport. Fast forward to the beginning of her Junior years when she got her first job in the industry working for Sarah Scheiring. After seven years under her instruction she realized her love of training and producing horses as well as teaching and coaching at a large customer based facility, while showing up to the 1.35 level. She then moved to Ireland to work for Irish Olympian Greg Broderick to better understand what goes into the breeding, producing and sales of some of the top jumpers in Europe and North America. Returning to the states after her time abroad she worked for and learned from U.S Olympian Chris Kappler, Andre Dignelli of Heritage Farm and most recently while riding and managing for Sarah Scheiring she got to spend invaluable time with Missy Clark and John Brennan of North Run. After many years working for and learning from top Grand Prix riders and the best trainers on the East Coast, she is excited to be starting a business along side Ethan Maye, continuing her love of sourcing and producing young horses and teaching students the value of horsemanship in and outside of the ring.
